John The Baptist

John The Baptist (4BC-AD28) was a sovereign grace Baptist preacher. He was sent by God as the forerunner of the Lord Jesus Christ, preaching the gospel and baptizing converts. Among those converted and baptized under his ministry were the twelve men appointed by Christ to serve as His apostles.
